Felisa de Blas Gómez, PhD in architecture awarded at the sixth ‘Arquitesis’ doctoral dissertation (published: El Teatro como espacio. ISBN: 978-849366934-8 Arquia), head of the Department of Stage Design at the RESAD and lecturer at the University Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. As an architect she has worked in restoration and construction and has worked for the City Government of Madrid. As a lecturer, she has held the post of Head of Studies of the RESAD and has directed doctoral theses and imparted conferences. Additionally, she has participated in international congresses on stage design and graphic expression and in Educational Innovation projects at the European Space of Higher Education. Member of the editorial committee of ‘Acotaciones’, a theatre research journal, she has published books and articles on theatre architecture and the performing arts. Her most recent research work includes the ‘Observatory of Theatrical Spaces: Theatrical Cartography: Spain’, of the Polytechnic University of Barcelona (BIA 2016-77262-R), Curator of the Spanish Schools Pavilion Prague Quadrennial 2019 and Scientific Committee of exhibition: A walk around the stage 2019.
