Michaela Buriánková is a manager in the cultural field. Before joining the Prague Quadrennial she worked at the press department of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, in the National Museum (theatre department), and in the PR Agency Mmd. In 2013 she has joined the Prague Quadrennial team at the Arts and Theatre Institute. In 2016-2017 she was the PQ executive director. In October 2015 she took the role of the main coordinator of a three year project “SharedSpace: Music Weather Politics”, supported by EACEA under the programme Culture. Since 2018 she works as a manager for international PQ projects, leading an international project “EMERGENCE. From shared experience to new creativity. Living Heritage/Reframing Memory”. Simultaneously she works at the Academy of Fine Arts, and the Wikimedia Czech Republic. She has a Bussiness Bachelor degree, with Honours, from Institute of Technology, and is a certified expert in information services for cultural organisations.
