This article deals with the work developed within the international Erasmus + project entitled “Canon of the theatre technical history” whose main objective is to create awareness and understanding about the historic background of the theater technical field in an European context. The project contributes to the current discourse on the preservation of the cultural heritage of transnational and international theater technology, and It includes the tangible as well as the intangible cultural heritage of the performing arts field. Students and staff of 9 European university institutes, research centers and dual education programs collaborate to develop a digital (and physical) timeline and a Canon of technical theater as well as educational tools and teaching guides to contribute to the teaching exchange of these disciplines.”
